What CCC is really about
CCC is built around three simple things:
1) Easy meals, baking, and practical cooking
Food here is about real life.
That means meals you can actually make, baking that feels worth the effort, and ideas that still work when energy, time, money, or motivation are a bit all over the place.
You’ll find things like:

- baking that’s comforting without being a massive faff
- ingredient and flavour tips that genuinely improve your food

2) Life with Dexter and Tilly
Dogs are a huge part of life here — especially Dexter and Tilly.
Dexter is the thoughtful one — observant, expressive, and the kind of dog who makes you pay attention.
Tilly is a black Cocker Spaniel and… exactly what you’re imagining: a loving, cuddly, in-your-face (literally) bundle of chaos. If she could climb inside your hoodie and live there, she probably would.
This part of CCC is about life with dogs in a way that feels grounded and genuinely useful.

The “Clicks” part of CCC is still here — just not in an overcomplicated, “photography blog” way.
Photography runs through this site because it’s part of how I see and share the world.
Sometimes that means food photos.
Sometimes it’s the dogs.
Sometimes it’s the small visual details that make ordinary life feel worth noticing.
